The Delta de Tigre

We took the chance to have a cruise in the delta of the tigre river; there´s basically a lot of little islands, some inhabited but always very green and pleasant.

Transport is provided by water taxis and water buses.

First glimpses of the pampas

Hi everyone!

We indeed got to South America and managed to go out into the country side for asado (what the South Africans call brai) and a bit of a look around. The pampas is a fairly flat place in general, though slightly undulating in the area North of Buenos Aires.
Here, quite some time was spent grilling the pig, digesting the meal and having a look around the farm. Excellent contrast to the busy city life in Buenos Aires.
